Lewisham Children

The Ladywell Institution opened c.1897-1900 and was also known by other names including the Ladywell Infirmary, the Bermondsey Institution and the St. Olave's Infirmary Ladywell.  Although in Lewisham, this institution belonged to the St Olave Union (Parish of Bermondsey from 1904).  On birth and death certificates, this institution is usually referred to as 82 Ladywell Road.
